Boom Supersonic CEO Blake Scholl said on X that Crusoe is no longer moving forward with the launch partnership for Superpower turbines, and Crusoe confirmed to TechCrunch that it is no longer doing business with Boom. The collaboration had called for Crusoe to spend $1.25 billion on 29 42-megawatt turbines, with initial deliveries in 2027. Scholl said Boom will deliver about 250MW to other sites in 2027, targeting 1GW in 2028.
